A Fresh Start: The Vision Behind Turtle Feet’s Sustainable Redesign
Unveiling the Usability Challenges in Turtle Feet's Website
I started by creating a site map and conducting a heuristic analysis of the Turtle Feet website.
Turtle Feet is a sustainable retail brand that sells eco-friendly products in partnership with charities and other organizations to make a positive change

While there were an about us page and a sustainability page it wasn't enough users need to know what the brand does to be sustainable

Usability tests:
The main issue was the lack of a filter option on the desktop site
Product descriptions were often innconsitent. Some products contained detailed description and reviews others contained nothing and no reviews
A Fresh Start: The Vision Behind Turtle Feet’s Sustainable Redesign
Transforming Turtle Feet’s Website for Better User Experience
Based on my findings, I redesigned the aspects of the website that users found most problematic to improve the brand.

There were unresponsive pages
100% of the users struggled with the filter and sort option
Most of the users struggled with comparing products as there were a lack of reviews and description

Original Design
With the redesign, I added more color options, category choices fitting their products, and a price scale.
While the number of shoppers and products sold may be helpful to some users, having an illustration of Turtle Feet’s sustainable practices would be more beneficial. This provides users with more detailed information about the brand’s practices.
Original Design
The homepage’s original header didn’t lead to any pages and provided no information about the companies. With my redesign, the idea is to include sections on how materials are sourced, the charity partners they donate to, and the progress made this year, highlighting the impact Turtle Feet has made as a company. This approach provides users with transparency and helps build trust.
